How do the injections work?

Anti-wrinkle injections are made from the botulinum toxin which temporarily block the nerve signalling in the muscles that are injected, causing them to relax.

Limiting facial muscle movement means fewer and less pronounced creasing over time, leading to fewer wrinkles over the long-term.

FAQs.

Do Anti-Wrinkle Injections change the shape of my face?
No, the treatment doesn’t change the shape of your face! Often times face shape changes are a result of dermal fillers or more invasive plastic surgery. However, some treatments such as for the Masseter are designed to give a narrower look to the face.

Once I start, do I have to keep getting treatment?
It’s a common misconception that your wrinkles will come back even stronger if you decide to have treatment and then stop. The truth is that it’s like most preventative care. Just as fluoride prevents tooth decay, botox prevents wrinkles. The earlier you start, the more effective it is and it will be better than if you had never started at all.

When should I start getting treatment?
While there’s no one right answer, we recommend treatment around the time you start noticing wrinkles for the best long-term prevention. This will be between age 25 and age 30 for most, though everyone’s anatomy is different
